SEO Link Building Services

You need to be at the top of the list when someone is searching for your products and services, which requires a combination of art and science. We’d love for you to join the hundreds of customers who already trust RankPop to get them to the top. Your site’s visibility will improve dramatically after we build its authority by generating a buzz about it online. It’s the one thing Google values most. In fact, Google’s own manifesto “Ten things we know to be true” promises to determine
…which sites have been “voted” to be the best sources of information by other pages across the web.
Want to profit from SEO?
Start by choosing the right keywords.
We begin your campaign by selecting 180 keywords, with the goal of focusing on 30 per month. Here’s how we find them.
- First, we look for low-hanging fruit. These are keywords your website already ranks for in spots 6 through 16 on a web search. Google feels your site is already an authority on these keywords, so it’s not difficult to get them to rank even higher for you.
- We get a list of the most profitable products and/or services your company offers. We then find versions of these keywords that are lower-competition – that is, have fewer people trying to rank for them. For example, the phrase “credit cards” has dozens of people spending tens of thousands of dollars to rank for the term. What we’re looking for is “long-tail keywords,” longer phrases that fewer companies are trying to rank for.
You can’t gauge SEO success without knowing where you stand.
We create baselines based on where your website is currently ranking for the keywords found above. Then, we send you a report that details those rankings.

Your site – viewed through a geek’s eyes.
To drive more traffic to your site, we put on our Google goggles and determine what words you should add, how to tweak your title tags, on-page content you should include, what your headings should look like, and more. You’ll get a list of recommendations about changes you can make to the pages we’re targeting. The end result is a site that you can be proud of – a site that drives traffic effectively.
Now, you’re ready for the spotlight.
At this point, your website is ready to be talked about on thousands of sites, including web 2.0 properties, blogs, social media sites, article sites, press release sites, and more. Google looks at these mentions of your websites as “votes,” people who have site as being authoritative.
Seeing is believing.
Just before each one-month anniversary, you’ll speak with our SEO team and learn about what we’ve done and the results that we’ve achieved. We’ll then begin working on a game plan for the next thirty days together.
Every thirty days, we’re going to continue to monitor what we’ve done and decide what to do the following month. But that’s not the end of our journey: something amazing happens in month five, as we determine the next group of 180 keywords we’re going to target over the next six months!
SEO Content Marketing Services

Your company’s SEO investment deserves lasting results. The goal of content marketing is to create amazing content that the right people will want to talk about and share; in other words, content that will benefit your business over the long term.
See, what matters to Google isn’t just that you’re putting “stuff” on the web. Google wants to see that you’re creating something of value. When the Wall Street Journal writes a glowing review, when a major blogger shares an infographic with his huge audience, when Twitter goes nuts over an article or video, that content is no longer just a piece of info floating in cyberspace. It now has value. Highly authoritative editorial links insulate a website to en extent from the ups and downs most sites see in rankings – they aren’t affected by Google’s algorithm changes the way garden variety content is.
Brainstorming a wildly successful campaign.
Your content-building campaign begins with keywords, just like our link building campaign.
- We take a look at keywords relevant to your business, then determine what type of content journalists and high-end blog editors are likely to link to. This content isn’t to promote your business to potential clients; rather, it’s aimed at a highly authoritative audience. Your amazing content needs to be talked about in social media circles.
- We go over these ideas in a brainstorming session with you, discussing how best to develop a piece that will both be attractive to the media and to the search engines. Your input will help us determine the best way to develop and deliver the content that’ll get you talked about.
Get people talking with content that matters.

At the same time, RankPop’s team will create a list of potential social media outlets, blog editors, and journalists. Our team tracks down their phone numbers, email addresses, and social media profiles. What we want is high-profile bloggers and writers to get excited about the content you’ve created! Now we begin to create the amazing content we’re going to deliver.
We’ll place the content on your site and spread the word.
Once it’s completed and approved, the content we’ve created goes on your website, along with social media buttons so that your audience can share it with their friends across the web. We do a baseline rankings report to determine your site’s current rankings. PowerPage content, which will help you to rank for long-tail keywords, will be added to your site to drive traffic to it.
Your content will be shared with every single journalist, blog editor, and social media activist on our list. We’ll ask them if they’d be willing to share it with their readers.
Your results are tracked so we can develop next month’s plan.

At this point, we monitor and communicate to you which sites decide to link to your content. We also alert the general media about the content. All of the links that we’ve achieved are explained during a monthly meeting. This meeting is designed to break down results: we’ll look at the changes in rankings and the changes in your authority score, and using that information, we’ll discuss your next content campaign!
Want to know more? Here are answers to some of the things potential clients often tell us.
I'm happy with my current SEO provider.
“I’m happy with my current SEO provider.”
If you’re pleased with the level of service that your current web marketing provider offers you – that’s great! One way many companies are scaling their business these days is to utilize multiple SEO companies to ensure their rankings are the best they can possibly be. RankPop works with plenty of companies that, for instance, use different SEO companies developing strategies for their many products.
But consider this very important point: any SEO service deserves to be scrutinized to make sure that you’re getting the best return on your investment (including ours!). Majestic SEO, Ahrefs, and Open Site Explorer are three services available in both free and paid versions that can analyze what your SEO provider is doing for you. Type your web address in the search bar below and you’ll see exactly what we mean.
I can't afford $595 a month.
“I just can’t afford $595 a month.”
We know that our service isn’t for everyone, and if $595 a month is too expensive for you, we understand. However, we do want to emphasize that RankPop is an extremely affordable solution for the majority of our clients. For comparison, most high-end SEO companies charge a minimum of $2,500 per month – and they require a long-term commitment.
I prefer to work with local companies - that way, we can meet face-to-face.
“I prefer to work with local companies – that way, we can meet face-to-face.”
We respect your desire to keep things local – we prefer local ourselves. Sometimes local is better. But sometimes better is better.
Allow us to draw an analogy:
If you were to come down with a serious illness – one that could become terminal without effective management – you would have many treatment options. Your local doctor might be someone with whom you’re comfortable, but is he the best doctor to manage your symptoms? If you had the choice between your local doctor and the best of the best, wouldn’t it make more sense to go for the latter option?
Great SEO is to your business what an amazing doctor is to an ailing person. It battles a constantly changing Google algorithm, which is an extremely complex science and a highly developed art. Brilliant scientists and artists need to be on your team to ensure that your business doesn’t just stay afloat, but that it takes advantage of every possible opportunity to increase your bottom line.
Consider the combined 80 years of experience in SEO within our office. We’ve been in the business since 2003. What’s more, we’ve grown multiple companies from the ground-up into multimillion dollar ventures using the same techniques and strategies we lend to our customers. With RankPop, you’re getting the best SEO service available.
That doesn’t mean we don’t want to know you personally, just like a local SEO firm. Think about it: just a few years ago, there were no telecommuting employees. Today it’s common. That’s because a web-based working relationship works! You can Skype with us or chat with us in a Go2Meeting. Technology allows you to visit our office. We’d love to visit yours.
And we love to travel. We do it often. If you’d like to meet us face-to-face, we’d be happy to discuss meeting in person.
I've been burned in the past by an SEO company. I don't want to risk that again.
“I’ve been burned in the past by an SEO company. I don’t want to risk that again.”
Unfortunately, one bad apple can spoil the bunch. Isn’t that what happened with lawyers? Obviously they’re not all bad – in fact, many of them are amazing – but the reputation remains. Over the years there have been many SEO companies all over the world whose practices didn’t align with Google’s Terms of Service. These activities are precisely what give many SEO firms a bad name.
We simply don’t even consider doing those things. Our conscience doesn’t allow for it. Ethical business is something we take very seriously.
Here’s the thing: RankPop hasn’t made a name for itself by being some fly-by-night company. We’re a real business of real people with real families, a full-blown team concerned about long-term success. We’ve got too much at stake to ignore Google’s guidelines.
How can I be sure I can trust you?
“How can I be sure I can trust you?”
In short, hundreds of people already have. We’re confident that if you knew our happy customers, or if you met our leadership at one of the conferences they were invited to guest lecture, you’d trust us.
Our desire to earn your trust is built right into our business model. We don’t offer long-term contracts because we want each and every client to trust that we’ll always do right by them. If people aren’t happy with our service, we don’t want them to be locked into a contract.
The fact is, we’re located right here in the good ol’ USA and we’ve worked hard for our A rating from the ” Better Business Bureau. We pride ourselves on being the type of business customers feel they can trust.
When can I expect to hit #1 on Google?
“When can I expect to hit #1 on Google?”
Unfortunately, predictions from our SEO crystal ball have never really turned out, our web marketing pixie dust just makes the office messy, and our magic 8 ball seems to be broken.
There are scientific reasons that you just can’t predict how long it’ll take to get your rankings where you want them. Google’s algorithm contains more than 200 measurements for every single query entered into the search engine. Each keyword has its own algorithm factors. Each site has its own algorithm factors. Each page of each site has its own algorithm factors.
In the world of SEO, you have control over how many people are talking about or linking to your content. You have the ability to encourage more people to link to your content. You can control your content quality. But you can’t control how Google works.
In a word, Google’s algorithm determines the rankings. The best anyone can do is to influence it. Quite frankly, anyone who tells you that they can make you #1 for a keyword is lying.
How is my return on investment calculated?
“How is my return on investment calculated?”
Return on investment varies by client and package, and it’s contingent upon appropriate analysis.
Look at your website as an employee. It needs to work 24/7 to get you results. You have to give that employee the proper tools to succeed, and you need to measure it properly. So, first things first: before return on investment can be tracked, a few things need to be done:
1) A trackable phone number that relates information back to Google Analytics must be set up. (Ifbyphone is a great website that can offer this service for about $9 a month.)
2) Make sure that your site is tracking its visitors – for instance, instead of giving .pdf files away for free, make the visitor enters his or her email address and then send them the file.
3) Include a form where visitors can sign up for more info or get a free quote. The data they provide will be crucial to determining ROI.
Determining ROI is impossible if your site’s not prepared to track it.
The next step is to determine the answers to a few more questions.
1) What’s your conversion rate on a keyword? Don’t know? Do a pay-per-click (PPC) campaign and find out. Go to adwords.google.com to start your campaign. You can pay per click so that your ad appears at the top of the list. This allows you to determine what percentage of clicks turn into sales.
2) What’s the search volume? How many people are typing that keyword into Google per month?
3) What rank are you, and what rank would you like to achieve?
Once we have all this data, we can determine how many keywords that you rank for generate traffic to your site, and how much of that traffic increases your revenue.
What will my monthly campaign look like?
“What will my monthly campaign look like?”
We cover your monthly plan in-depth at the top of this page – but here’s the ten-cent version of how we tailor a web marketing campaign to increase your bottom line.
Your link-building campaign.
- We find 180 keywords for your business and rotate through them 30 at a time.
- We find and prioritize high-profit, low-competition, high search volume keywords for your company.
- We run a complete analysis of your website’s current rankings.
- We recommend how to optimize your site for rankings and create the content to drive traffic.
- We report back on the success of your campaign.
Your SEO content marketing campaign.
- We analyze your site and develop a baseline rankings report, then install analytics to track traffic to your site.
- We determine your keyword focus.
- We develop content that will be interesting to a journalistic audience – not simply your potential clients. The goal is to generate a buzz around your business.
- We develop a PowerPagefor the content we’ve created.
- We report back on the success of your campaign.
How many links will you get me?
“How many links will you get me?”
Plenty.
Everyone loves to have running water in their home, right? But if the water pressure is too high, it’ll come out of your faucet like a fire hose and potentially burst your pipes.
The same principle applies to SEO marketing. If there are too many links to your site, Google’s algorithm will take notice – and it’ll seem suspicious. Too many links will “burn” your site, and it won’t rank at all. So we take a cautious but effective approach: we analyze the link velocity of your competitors so that we can make you the head of the pack rather than an outlier.
For some clients, the magic number is 5,000 links a month. For others, we only build 100 or so. We understand that SEO isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution, and we make sure that our solutions are developed specifically for your company.
Do you offer a guaranteed position like other companies do?
“Do you offer a guaranteed position like other companies do?”
Our business model doesn’t guarantee positions – but it’s entirely out of consideration for our clients.
There are some SEO companies that ask you to pay a monthly dollar amount for each keyword that appears in a specific position on a web search. To us, that feels like the same thing as pay-per-click, and it becomes a very expensive business model for clients over time. At RankPop, we don’t want our customers to pay a monthly fee for one keyword forever – we want them to rank for thousands of keywords without having to pay us for every word.
We feel our business model is more effective, and it’s certainly more affordable.
What if I want a long-term contract?
“What if I want a long-term contract?”
You want a contract? Well, we’re happy to offer you one! The reason we don’t pigeonhole customers into long-term commitments is because we never want a customer to feel like they’re locked in. RankPop believes you should be able to exit whenever you like.
We understand that some customers want a contract because they have the faith that RankPop will work for them over the long term. If that’s what you want, that’s what you’ll get. We aim to please.
What keyword rankings have RankPop achieved?
“What keyword rankings have RankPop achieved?”
We’ve built first-page rankings for many of our clients. For example, we achieved a #4 ranking for the term “dating coach,” a #3 ranking for “Amish furniture,” a #2 ranking for the term “expert on dating,” and #1 rankings for the terms “places to eat in Savannah,” “discount fireplace mantels,” “chess sets,” “analog chess clock,” “accidental death travel insurance,” “file monitoring system,” and “tailgate gear.”
Can I see examples of your content or link building techniques?
“Can I see examples of your content or link building techniques?”
Absolutely. Let’s start with screenshots of some of the successful link-building pages that we’ve done.
Here are some of our pieces of brilliant content. Our content successes have ranged from amazing infographics to in-depth articles.
I'm building a new site and want to wait till it's done before improving my SEO strategy.
“I’m building a new site and want to wait till it’s done before improving my SEO strategy.”
There’s honestly no reason to wait to build your site’s rankings and authority. If you have a domain name and you build links to it, you’re also building authority to that domain name. When the domain name is changed or sold, the authority is carried along with it. The domain itself – the URL – is what you’re building to. If you’re building a completely new site, make a splash page and start linking! Even if your domain is going to change, a 301 redirect will allow you to maintain the authority built to your original URL.
What if I don't currently have access to my site?
“What if I don’t currently have access to my site?”
The two accounts you should always have access to are your registrar and your host. (Sometimes they’re the same.) You can find out who your registrar is by visiting whois.domaintools.com. Find out who is hosting your site at whoishostingthis.com. If your site is powered by Yahoo, WordPress, or any other common platform, you can typically use the forgotten password feature to get access.
If you somehow can’t get access, that’s okay. We can do search engine optimization for you without it! Most of web marketing is external – getting your site being talked about. After all, search engines decide how important you are based on the buzz around your site.
